I am thrilled to have been successful being appointed as the nursery Manager For Dragonflies Community nursery. Early years has been my passion since leaving College in 1998. I have over 20 years experience and have been a Nursery Manager for 11 years. I have accomplished many goals along my journey, achieving an Outstanding Ofsted in 2015 and 2020. I’m committed to my professional development and have achieved an early years foundation degree and a diploma in leadership and management. I have also trained as the safeguarding lead.

I believe that children learn most effectively when they are actively involved in what they are doing. I am committed in helping children develop a love of learning by providing them with experiences that stretch their learning beyond what they already know, in a way that is playful nurturing and fun.

Early years is a vocation and not a job, I am passionate in supporting children, families and staff. I believe it takes community to raise a child. I love being part of a team that share the same core values and work collaboratively in providing the highest quality of care for young children.
